Recovery is Possible

The Heights Treatment IOP program in Houston begins with a schedule that offers therapy and sessions for 3 to 5 days a week for 3 hours each day. This provides the structure of consistent, daily treatment while still having the freedom to live in their own home or a sober living environment.

As the client progresses and continues in their sobriety, their number of required sessions will decrease but clinical and community support are always available.

What Can IOP Treat?

The American adult population suffers a great deal due substance use disorders and dependence.

Dependencies are developed for a variety of reasons and may be different for each adult. From experiencing traumatic events, to unaddressed mental health concerns, to the accessibility and their environment.

For many, the solution is to receive consistent, intensive outpatient rehab. Our IOP program was founded to foster recovery and propel growth.

Our goal is to restore the overall well-being of each client by addressing their concerns as a whole person.

Patients learn new positive coping skills to help them restore daily patterns to where they need them to be and are supported by clinical and peer communities.

Bipolar Disorder Treatment

Treating bipolar disorder requires a holistic care with a blend of mood stabilizers and consistent psychotherapy to help the client separate and analyze their thoughts.

Borderline Personality Disorder

Any holistic treatment plan for BPD requires medical treatment in addition to talk therapy. Both modalities are administered over a long period of time so the client can distinguish between destructive and healthy behaviors.

Anxiety Disorders

Holistic anxiety treatment includes both anti-anxiety medications as well as strategic and effective talk therapy.

Trauma Disorders

Treatment for trauma disorders will vary significantly from client to client. Depending on the event and its severity, treatment plans may include talk therapy as well as eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR).

Who Benefits From an IOP Program in Houston?

If whole-person healing and recovery is the goal, treating the root cause of the dependence is required.

Our clinical staff is well equipped to compassionately care for each individual without judgment, no matter their state. From any form of substance abuse or alcoholism to process addictions, including love, gambling, sex, and gaming.

Getting help with a substance abuse disorder is the beginning of a long-term path to recovery and safety.

Drug Addictions

What happens after detox must be clearly established for clients to have the best chance of sobriety.

Clients are treated with ongoing outpatient care in a controlled setting that’s rich with community and designed for reintegration. This approach has proven to be an effective and successful method for achieving lasting sobriety.

Alcohol Addictions

After the client has completed a medically assisted detox, they will need ongoing support through intensive outpatient programs in Houston in order to have the best chance of success.

Technology Addiction

Our approach to technology addictions may begin with short-term inpatient therapy in order to break their dependence on technology. Then, move on to an intensive outpatient program and continued support with long-term talk therapy.

Gambling Addiction

With effective intervention and support from an evidence-based IOP program, Houston gamblers can begin to break the cycle and receive additional help from credit counseling to therapy.

Love & Sex Addiction

These addictions tend to be deep-rooted and complex issues that require delicate handling and care. Therapy approaches include Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, Interpersonal Therapy, Group Therapy, and/or Dialectical Behavioral Therapy. The goal is to help the client understand their impulses and begin to recover with support and treatment.
