what does addiction treatment look like at the heights?
Treatment For Now. Recovery For Life. Healing For You.
At The Heights Treatment, we believe healing and recovery are most successful when attempted together. Each client is assigned a Primary Therapist as well as a Family Therapist.
The client and the Primary Therapist meet for up to 3 individual therapy sessions weekly and work together to create an individualized treatment plan customized to the unique needs of each client.
As the premier rehab center in Los Angeles, The Heights will develop a unique plan for every client that is best suited to their success. Our multidisciplinary team of mental health and substance use specialists are eager to work collaboratively with clients and their families to ensure each individual receives the care they need.
Our clinical staff is equipped and experienced in helping clients who suffer from substance abuse, alcoholism, and process addictions, including but not limited to sex, love, gambling, and gaming.
Mental health treatments can help clients with a wide variety of issues, including trauma, anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, and borderline personality disorder.
Our outpatient treatment programs may include but are not limited to, the following:
Whole Family Healing
At The Heights Treatment, we believe a supported client is a successful client, in treatment and at home.
We ensure this process is as holistic as possible by including the family in the substance abuse treatment process.
Every client who joins our drug rehab programs in LA can be assigned a Family Therapist who can act as a facilitator and advocate between services and family members to ensure each client’s long-term support and success.
Individualized Intensive Program (IIP)
Our IIP program is a 90-day plan that offers a multidisciplinary approach that Is accomplished over three phases.
Individualized structured care includes:
- Supportive Living
Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP)
A partial hospitalization program or PHP Is the best fit for clients who are coming directly from a residential or inpatient treatment program.
PHP may also be a good fit for anyone who thrives in an environment with more structure and is at increased risk of relapse or who finds it difficult to cover the cost of a residential program.
At The Heights, our PHP program includes modalities such as Dialectical Behavior Therapy skills, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, art psychotherapy, shame resiliency, healthy sex and love, recovery skills, and trauma-informed yoga.
We strongly believe that there is no “one-size-fits-all” approach to addiction treatment. Our medical and clinical teams work hard to collaborate with each client and their families to provide curated care.
Each client in our PHP program will be assigned a Family Coordinator, who will help to facilitate the healing process.
Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP)
Our Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) in LA runs 3 to 5 days per week for 3 hours per day. This is a good fit for individuals struggling with mental health issues as well as a substance use disorder.
Our IOP program offers clients both the structure of regularly attending treatment for 3 to 5 days per week while also enjoying the luxury of living in their own home or within a sober living environment.
Clients in the IOP program will have the opportunity to participate in group therapy sessions. This proven and holistic community strategy offers an evidence-based approach.
Other modalities include access to some of the same treatments as in the PHP program, among others. Most of our plans will implement some aspect of any or all of the following:
- Dialectical Behavior Therapy
- Cognitive Behavioral Therapy
- Art psychotherapy
- Shame resiliency
- Healthy interpersonal relations
- Recovery skills
- Trauma-informed yoga
Depending on their customized plan, clients also have the option to receive individual attention with Neurofeedback and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) therapy.
Outpatient Program (OP)
The Heights is the best option for continuing care after one has completed an IOP or PHP program.
The goal of our OP program is to provide clients with a measured and steady reintegration into everyday life and familiar routines.
This provides clients the opportunity to maintain weekly individual therapy and still receive the continued accountability of a weekly check-in group with their peers.
This is where lasting addiction recovery begins to take shape.
